GymPricing QuickStart Guide: In 10 Minutes to a Smarter Pricing Strategy

Most fitness businesses set their prices on gut feeling. A competitor raises a rate, a cost goes up, a new class is launched, and a number gets picked that feels safe. Over time that leaves a price list with gaps, overlaps and offers that quietly compete with each other.

GymPricing turns that guesswork into a clear routine. This guide walks you through every tool in the order that makes most sense when you start: your first price set, smarter price endings, a full health check of your offer and a realistic simulation of what a price change does to your revenue. The guide follows four chapters in that order: Price sets, Pricing mix, Price impact and Account. Work through them once, then return to the chapter you need.

Price sets

Record what you charge today, design what you want to charge tomorrow, import existing price lists and polish your prices with Price magic.

Create a set

Go to Price sets and tap the + icon. Choose Current for the prices members pay today, or Future for an offer you are considering.

Then pick one type: Memberships, Class packs or Credits. For memberships you choose one strategy per set: commitment (for example 1, 6, 12, 18 or 24 months), class allowance or tiers.

Enter prices and VAT

Fill in each option exactly as members see it, plus the VAT rate. GymPricing instantly shows the price per class or credit and the discount compared with your starting option, so you see straight away whether your ladder makes sense.

Give the set a clear name and save. Choose Edit later to update the same set, so your list never fills up with copies.

Import an existing price list

No time to type? In Price sets, choose Import. Upload a PDF, a screenshot or a photo of your price board, or paste the link to your pricing page.

GymPricing shows a preview of the products, prices and types it found. Nothing is saved yet. Correct or remove lines, then confirm to create your Current sets.

Simulate a price increase

Open a Current set and tap Simulate price increase. Raise prices by an amount or a percentage to prepare a Future set, while your original prices stay untouched.

Polish prices with Price magic

Open a set and choose Price magic. Click a style, such as charm endings (49, 99) or round amounts (50, 120), to preview the new prices next to the current ones with a short explanation per change.

Happy with it? Apply it and the set is updated directly. Not convinced? Close the window and nothing changes.

FAQ

What is the difference between Current and Future?

Current is what members pay today and serves as your baseline. Future is a proposal you want to test. Comparisons always run from Current to Future.

Can I mix memberships and class packs in one set?

No. Each set holds one type. Combine types later in Pricing mix.

Is an import saved automatically?

No. You always see a preview first and only confirmed lines are saved.

Does Price magic create a new set?

No. It updates the set you opened, so your list stays clean. Type and currency never change.

How many credit packs can I add?

Up to five, from small to large, each with a cash discount or bonus credits.

Pricing mix

Combine memberships, class packs and credits into one rate card and run a check-up to see whether your offers strengthen or undercut each other.

Build a mix

Go to Pricing mix and tap the + icon. Pick one saved set per type and at least two types, for example memberships and class packs. Use only Current or only Future sets, so you compare like with like.

Only sell one product type? Skip Pricing mix and go straight to Price impact.

Read the rate card

You get all prices side by side, with the price per class for each option and a consistency score. A low score points to conflicts, such as a class pack that is cheaper per class than a membership.

Use Download PDF to share the rate card with your team.

Run the Pricing mix check-up

Tap Start check-up. GymPricing reviews how your offers relate and lists what works and what to improve. The check-up is saved with the mix, so you can read it again later.

Changed a set afterwards? GymPricing tells you the check-up is outdated. Start it again for fresh advice.

FAQ

Why do I need at least two types?

A mix is about the balance between product types. With one type there is nothing to balance, so use Price impact instead.

Why can I not combine Current and Future sets?

Mixing today with tomorrow would give a misleading picture. Build one mix with Current sets and another with Future sets.

Does the check-up change my prices?

No. It only gives advice. You decide what to change in your price sets.
